Energetic and positive customer service person needed for our growing independent insurance agency. In our office we work hard but also like to have fun and joke around. We look for people who enjoy what they do and look forward to coming into work. The majority of your day will be spent on the phone so a good phone demeanor is a must. Prior insurance experience is not necessary. Our biggest goal is finding someone who possesses the natural ability to handle different personalities and is pleasant to speak with on the phone.


Requirements:


• Enjoy talking on the phone.
• Ability to build trust and maintain business relationship with customers.
• Prioritize tasks by importance.
• People-oriented, outgoing and genuinely enjoy dealing with clients.
• Ability to organize your day in an efficient manner.
• Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain).


Responsibilities:


• Handling changes to customer policies.
• Review customer renewal policies to determine if we need to re-market.
• Answering customer billing questions or needs.
• Answer calls from potential customers and gather their information for a quote.

Work with assigned agents to establish and meet marketing goals.

Compensation is primarily base but also offers some commission to reward good work.

 

Compensation: $28k - $32k
